How we work / The engagement

What an engagement looks like.

Four months. Then it is yours.

An Enquirer Consulting Group (ECG) engagement is a fixed four months. Month one designs the outbound unit around your weak points. Month two builds it, and it goes live in your market. Month three runs it on real numbers. Month four hands it over with the playbook, the dashboards and a trained operator. After that your team runs it, or we keep running it for you on an optional managed service.

Live in market from month two. Owned by your team from the end of month four.

Build, Run, Own, drawn to scale

Before month one

What happens before the engagement starts?

Two conversations and a proposal, presented live and scoped to your weak points.

The first call is discovery, in the plain sense: how you grow today, where it stalls and what you have tried. If the fit is wrong, we say so on that call. The second call goes deeper on the weak points worth fixing. Then we present the proposal live, scoped to those weak points and nothing else. Many companies start one step earlier, with a free Reachable Buyer Map.

Month by month

What happens in each of the four months?

Each month has a clear job. Here is what we do, what you see and what we need from you.

01

Month one

Design.

What we do
Map your ICP and buyers per product line, source and verify the data, draft the messaging and set the compliance boundaries. Separate sending domains start warming. A digital review of your site, search, social and PR shows which other disciplines, if any, belong in scope.
What you see
The buyer map, the messaging drafts and the channel plan, in plain documents you can challenge.
What we need from you
A few hours in the first two weeks: input on your ICP and offer, sign-off on messaging, and a named person for replies to route to.

02

Month two

Build.

What we do
Stand up the outbound infrastructure, the CRM flow, reply routing, reporting and automation, plus any site, content or video work in scope. The operator is sourced and onboarded. Your corporate domain never sends cold.
What you see
The engine going live. Day one capacity comes from warmed assets, so the engine produces while it builds, and first conversations typically land in the first weeks of going live.
What we need from you
Sign-off on the routing rules and the people who take the first calls. Your compliance or regulatory lead signs off messaging before anything sends.

03

Month three

Run.

What we do
Run outbound live in your market. Replies are handled and routed, and message-market fit is refined by what buyers actually answer.
What you see
Real replies and real meetings on your calendar, reported weekly against the baseline we agree up front. Every metric we report is defined before we report it.
What we need from you
Your team takes the conversations and tells us what a good one looks like, so the targeting keeps getting sharper.

04

Month four

Hand over.

What we do
Optimize the engine, document the playbook, install the dashboards and transition the operator to your team.
What you see
A working unit, set up in your name, with your team at the controls and the operator who ran it now on your side.
What we need from you
An owner for the unit inside your business, and a place on your payroll for the operator.

+

After month four

Yours.

Your team runs it
The unit keeps running with your operator. The running cost becomes yours: one person plus tooling.
Or we keep running it
An optional managed service keeps us operating and optimizing the unit month to month, if you would rather we stay on the tools.
Either way
You own the asset, so the choice stays yours, every month.

At handover

What does your team own at the end?

Everything is set up in your name and handed over at the end. Nothing is held hostage.

  • Sending domains and mailboxesSeparate from your corporate domain, warmed and in your name.
  • Data and lead listsThe buyer map per product line and the verified contact data behind it.
  • CRM records and dashboardsOne live view of conversations, meetings and the pipeline they become.
  • Messaging and sequencesBuilt on your approved claims, with what worked and what did not.
  • The documented playbookHow the unit runs, written down so it survives any one person.
  • The trained GTM operatorThe person who ran the unit, trained on it and moved to your team.

Scope

Do we get every discipline?

No. You get the ones your weak points call for.

The unit can draw on outbound, market and data, messaging, SEO and web, social and content, PR, video and case studies, and AI and automation. An engagement usually draws on a handful. We scope to the weak points we find in the first two conversations, never the full menu. The disciplines are listed on the solutions page, and how we time outreach to each buyer is on how we find the moment.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

How long is an engagement?
A fixed four months: design, build, run and hand over. After that your team runs the unit, or an optional managed service keeps us running it for you.
When do the first conversations start?
First conversations typically land in the first weeks of going live, because capacity comes from warmed assets rather than a cold start. Markets differ, and the Reachable Buyer Map is where we tell you what yours can support.
How much time does our team need to give?
A few hours in the first two weeks: input on your ICP and offer, sign-off on messaging, and a named person for replies to route to. We handle the build. Your team handles the conversations.
Why is there no pricing on this page?
Because the engagement is scoped to your weak points, and a published number would be wrong in both directions. Pricing is presented live on a call, once we understand the scope.
Does the operator become our employee?
Yes. At handover the operator transitions to your team, on your payroll. That is the trade of owning rather than renting: the unit's running cost becomes yours, one person plus tooling, and so does everything it produces.
Is this a build-operate-transfer model?
Yes. In procurement terms, Build, Run, Own is a build-operate-transfer (BOT) model for outbound sales: we build the unit, run it in your market for four months, then transfer it to your team, including the trained operator who runs it. The model in full is on the Build, Run, Own page.
